Evansville, Indiana –Keep Evansville Beautiful announced local construction company Deig Bros. Construction removed the awning at Keep Evansville Beautiful’s offices located at 209 Main Street on Monday, August 13, 2012. The deteriorated awnings were were constructed along Main Street in 1973.

Construction volunteer service obligation to the community,” said Wildeman. Deig Bros. encourages its employees to donate their time in volunteer opportunities coordinated by the company to support local causes. “Employees unselfishly demonstrate their commitment to our community,” said Wildeman.

  1. Could they also remove the tattered awnings on the McCurdy. It would sure help to clean up Evansville’s image. Send the bill to City Center, and they would ignore it just like the taxes.

    • Why don’t they foreclose and put it in the tax sales with the homes they have listed? They owe taxes and nobody moves off thier a#@ to collect. This has been going on long enough.

  2. Rick Davis it’s time you heed the post of Silverdome!

I see an election issue brewing.
