Congressman Larry Buschon will be in town next Tuesday visiting two EVSC schools, including Central High School at 9:15 a.m. and the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center at 10:30 a.m.
At Central, Buschon will discuss the state of the 8th district with junior and senior students and what it is like being a freshmen congressman. Members of Central’s Teenage Young Republicans and Young Democrats also will have an opportunity to ask questions.
At the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center, Buschon will meet with students enrolled in health sciences courses and discuss the future of health care and talk about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the new health care bill that was signed into law in 2010, and the impact the bill will have on careers in the health care field.
