Mole Nation and Mole #3 Predictions to be Released Sunday

Nine of the City County Observer Moles that make up a number of tips that we use to expose local government malfeasance along with our undefeated champion Mole #3 will be releasing their predictions for the upcoming City of Evansville elections sometime this Sunday.

Mole #3 stated this morning that it is predicting a margin of victory in the race for Mayor of Evansville of less than 500 votes. When bribed with Mole Chow and Beer Mole #3 still did not succumb and disclose which candidate it was predicting to win by this small margin.

Mole #3 also was insistent that on Tuesday night that it’s identity will be revealed and that it’s retirement to Florida will be announced. She (oh did I say she), I meant it is looking forward to being out of the turmoil of Evansville politics and the day to day pressure to expose more dirty little secrets.

  1. I hope the moles predict the outcome of all the offices on Evansville ballots and not just on the mayor’s race.

      • I’m no mole, but here are my predictions as of today…subject to change depending on what happens over the weekend, of course!

Mayor: Davis squeaks in by ~500 votes
2nd Ward: Mosby (though it pains me to say so)
        3rd Ward:

        • Whoops…posted too soon.

3rd Ward: Brinkeroff Riley in a surprisingly close race
          5th Ward: Grafton
          6th Ward: Lindsey

          At Large: Dan Adams
          Swaim
          Weaver (ugh)

So that would be a 6-3 split in favor of the “Dems.”

More to the point, there would be 5 independent voices on the council: McGinn, Grafton, Lindsey, Adams, and Swaim. Those are the ones a Mayor Davis would need to work with to get anything done.

Stephanie Brinkeroff Riley is a bit of a wildcard. She doesn’t seem to be totally under the Machine’s thumb…yet. There’s hope for her. Sure would be nice to have an extra Democratic vote for the good guys…

Mosby, Robinson, Weaver are all hopeless slaves of the Machine. Their job would be to sabotage Davis and prepare the way for Eric Williams to run against him in a primary.

        • You may have the 2nd ward wrong, data I saw yesterday showed Mosby 51% Walters 49% with a margin of error +/- 3%, supposedly Ms Mosby is very upset as she should be, rumor is that she was all ready to come out and endorse Winnecke like the rest of the traitors and was told to stand down.

          JMHO

          • Evenly split….basically 50/50, at this point personally I tend to agree with you on the 500 points in Davis’s favor, the weather on the 8th will be the deciding factor along with early voting this weekend.

The machine has unwittingly wounded itself through it’s arrogance which will work in Davis’s favor which is why Mosby was told to stand down.

It’s sad in a way if she had came out and supported Winnecke Walters would have jumped ahead of her by Tuesday.

Of course this is all just my opinion based on a little info from moles of my own. 😉

            JMHO

  2. Between the arrogance of Della and the possibility that Weinzapfel paid off the State Dems to drop their support of Davis, I’m wondering if the “fix is in” for Rick.

We all know the kind of shennanigans that have gone on at the ballot box in past Evansville elections. It’s not even certain that you can get a fair count. Rick had better have a plan in place to monitor the counting in EVERY precinct, or he could have the race stolen right out from under him. In a race this close, it would only take ~10 votes per precinct.

  3. The state party just wired MORE money for the Davis campaign. Anyone saying they have pulled their support is a liar for the machine. More dirty politics from those Davis has taken a stand against.

    • Good! Thanks for clearing that up.

Seems that they’re expending a lot of energy on trying to demoralize Davis supporters. I wouldn’t be surprise to see a phony poll result released this weekend to do just that.

    • If this is accurate, it signals the State Democratic party intends to remove the disloyal rouge leadership of the County Democratic party that subverted the will of the majority of the Democratic primary voters by openly opposing their own primary winning candidate for Mayor.

    • thanx 4 good news scott nice 4u 2b go btween 4 davis and state party and get so involved with zero in it 4u or family hope its worth your invstmnt could buy new boat or nice car but this is sort of ur hobby easy come easy go so2 say

      • Does anyone else get the impression that this site is basically a bunch of Rick Davis supporters on one side and Alex Jarvis posting under 12 different names on the other?
