Logistics Regarding Governor Pence’s 2016 State of the State Address

Indianapolis – Indiana Governor Mike Pence will deliver his 2016 State of the State address on Tuesday, January 12, to a joint session of the Indiana General Assembly in the House Chamber. The address will begin at 7 p.m. (EST) and is expected to fit in a 30-minute window.

 

The House Chamber will be gaveled to order at 7:00:00 and the Governor will begin his remarks at approximately 7:02:00. Media must be in place by 6:45 p.m. EST. Access to the Chamber after this time will be prohibited.

The feed will be HD 720p and will have embedded closed captioning. Bars and tone will be online starting at 18:30 and will be labeled “State of the State.” At 18:55 the feed will cut to a wide shot of the House chambers.
