  1. Well, I guess that’ll teach those youngsters who want to change things in the Greedy Old Party!
Mr. Selby, I don’t think you have much to look forward to in the party of your choice.

  2. The five committeemen that endorsed Mr. Selby can bent over and kiss their butts good-bye, too. Some things never change.

  3. I’d love to see a roll call on this.

Wayne, where will the votes be published?

  4. The fact that Michelle Mercer was roundly rejected is telling, at least. She seemed to be the most neo-conservative of the lot, the most willing to infringe on individual liberty, and she was in favor of the downtown convention hotel from the outset.

I take her defeat by candidates pushing for more limited government positions a victory for the young libertarian Republican cause. We’re winning. 8 votes for Selby is not a bad turnout. It’s something upon which we can build – a good, solid core.

Thanks to Sean for throwing your name in the hat and stepping up.

    • I’ve got a better one for you! The C&P has an article up about her replacing “Susan” Crouch. Who the hell is “Susan Crouch”?? I know the new state auditor is “Suzanne Crouch.”

      • also in their headline it was holli and right below that the cp spelled it holly……

  5. congrats to Mrs. Sullivan……..Mrs. Sullivan will make a great rep………….

  6. Another fox news anchor qualified blonde in the back pocket of big business. Nothing’s changed.

  7. I’m a little concerned that my comments were removed about a newly elected official! Has the City County Observer been co-opted??
