Governor’s Residence opens for more Tours in December

INDIANAPOLIS – Hoosiers will have more opportunities in December to visit the Indiana Governor’s Residence and see the home’s holiday decorations.

“This season, we encourage all Hoosiers to consider visiting the residence and hope they will leave inspired to spread the holiday spirit to others around our state,” first lady Karen Pence said in a statement.

Reservations are required can be made at http://in.gov/gov/2346.htm.

Typically, tours – which last about an hour – are only offered on Tuesdays. But the state’s first family is making additional tours available at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Dec. 2, 3, 5, 9, 11, 12, 16, 17 and 18.

    • Is this his “personal residence”, or the “people’s residence” that his carcass is in?

      • Click the link in the article and you’ll see ‘head butler’ Dexter Powell holding court. It seems to be the people’s residence. Not sure if he actually lives there or not.
