The Evansville Police Department and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office announce the start of Blitz 107 that runs from February 26 to March 21.
We would like to invite the media to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office Training Center, located at 5900 Kansas Rd. on February 10, at 10:00 a.m. for a press conference.
Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding, as well as Assistant Chief Philip Smith will discuss Blitz 107, including aggressive and dangerous driving surrounding St. Patrick’s Day.
Some new tools to help law enforcement combat impaired driving as well as aggressive driving will be introduced at the training center. Demonstrations will be given on how these tools are utilized while officers work the grant.
