Anyone interested in participating should call Keep Evansville Beautiful at 812-425-4461 to sign up. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.

Team one, led by Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, will meet at Wesselman Park; Team Two at Swonder Ice Rink; Team Three at Hardee’s on Boeke; Team Four at G.D. Ritzy’s Football Field; Team Five at Vogel School; and Team Six at It Takes a Village Parking lot at 1417 Stockwell Road.

The next targeted clean-up is scheduled for September 8 in the Jacobsville Neighborhood.

  1. Since the mayor has started this program have they picked up trash any where on the west side ? Or is this only a east side thing

  2. The west side has enough pride to clean their own mess. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wards on the other hand are the pig sties of Evansville and need outside volunteers to clean their messes.
