ENJOY YOUR NEW “OFF TOPIC FORUM”.

For the last couple of month we have been watching our bloggers getting off topic. Sometime the posters got real personal and insulting. With much thought and planning we have decided to add a new section to the CCO so you can go off topic long as you want. The name of this new section is called “OFF TOPIC FORUM.” We placed this new section in the upper right hand corner. This site is ready for you to post your off messages on a daily basis.

Attached is the new CCO posting rules for your review and compliance.

    • Or: IIT this new feature is for those not “giddy for Gayle?”
As for the rules for posting, good. Let’s see them enforced.

      • If the rules were actually enforced I would not have to defend the CCO as often. This is about the third time that the rules were posted and as far as I can tell they have not been enforced strictly.

I know that I’ve been calling some people names and making fun of them but that was only because they were battering the CCO and it’s people and some of my friends. When they stop the battering and lying about my friends I won’t feel the need to badger them anymore.

I’d much rather read a good debate than some of the bs that has been going on in here. I’ve noticed that some of the best past posters have been badgered so often that they don’t post in here anymore. I find that a shame. The trolls know who they are and they should be forced to shape up or leave.

And Common Sense. Nothing is stopping you from running for office and paying to have a political ad in the CCO or the Courier and Press. So why make fun of Gail for doing what everyone should be doing. All of us should be ready for a leadership job. Until you are ready to walk a mile in Gails shoes perhaps you should just sit down and be quiet. At least she is willing to run for office and has a good chance of winning the Mayor’s office. I wish her good luck

I’ve been in some other forums where the made a “way off topic” forum which required a special password to enter. Not sure how that worked out as I never wanted to participate in that kind of forum. I’d rather be a moderator and help clean house. It might be easier that refereeing an broom ball game with a bunch of drunken factory workers playing in their tennis shoes and trying to hit a ball into the net with a broom. Craziest game I ever saw in my life. A cross between soccer and rugby on ice. Where the players routinely fight with the referees and get drunk before and after the game. The Refs need side arms to protect themselves from the players. 🙁

        • Move, “Forced to shape up or leave”. That is anyone that disagrees with you right ? Ms Riecken, I don’t think anyone objects to her buying an ad. It is the constant barrage of free positive publicity she gets on site. The editor isn’t being objective when they do that.

          • Cowboy, the tolerant inclusive liberals are the first to name call and be nasty if you dare disagree with their nonsensical rants. I support the CCO guidelines. The “Off Topic”, or better yet “Open Topic”, is a great forum for those of us who care about our national security and the incalculable damage cased by the petulant President.

        • And moveon. Gail is free to buy all the advertising she wishes. It’s her press releases masquerading as a news article (yesterday) that I point out. CCO is free to be giddy for Gail, They should admit they are.

  1. Editor, I read your site for quite awhile before posting. I noticed posters were very one sided in their views. There was about ten of them an one would post and the other nine would post telling the person how great their post was. Very boring. If someone would post something opposing they would attack like wolves until that person left. I started posting a more conservative view point an others soon followed. This liven up your site an i would guess your numbers are up the last three months or show. The down side to it was a lot of your long time posters didn’t like that. They resorted to name calling, threatening etc. If you can clean up the last part it would help. I do reserve the right to poke at some, in a nice way, to liven things up from time to time. You need to keep your numbers up.
