University of Southern Indiana Men’s Track & Field turned out an NCAA II provisional qualifier and a few other noteworthy performances at the Washburn Ichabod Invite Saturday.

Junior Titus Winders was the one who stole the show for the men as he found himself in a familiar position, ahead of most of the competition on Saturday in the 3000 meters. Winders clocked in at eight minutes, 15.87 seconds as he took fifth in the race, dipping underneath the NCAA II provisional qualifying standard of 8:22.15. Winders’ 3000m time, unofficially, has him sitting at 29th on the nation’s performance list.

There were three other top-15 performances for the men on Saturday. Freshman Silas Winders was the other Screaming Eagle in the 3000m to cross the line in 13th place and a time of 8:32.30.

Both Seniors Gavin Prior (14:50.21) and Wyat Harmon (14:54.12) wound up in the top-10, sixth and eighth place, respectively in the 5000m.
