We need your help! Volunteers needed for Children’s March

0
Partnering to amplify the voice of children/teens in social justice issues, the Children’s Museum of Evansville, YWCA Evansville, Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana, Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library and Old National Bank are hosting the Love Not Hate Expressions exhibition and Children’s March on Evansville.
The Children’s March on Evansville, a march from the Four Freedoms monument to the Civic Center, will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 – and volunteers are needed to make this event a success!
We are in search of volunteers to man intersections along the March route (Four Freedoms Monument to Main Street to Civic Center complex), literally creating a safe space for young people to express their values of love and inclusion to our community.
Volunteers are also needed to assist with sign making prior to the March, which begins at 1 p.m. at Old National Bank on Main Street.
Volunteers will be assigned responsibilities via email. There will be a brief volunteer meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Large Group Room at Central Library, 200 S.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., to distribute t-shirts and go over the event and volunteer expectations.
