VCRP Reorganization Caucus
Every four years the GOP Party Rules require a Caucus be called to elect the Central Committee officers for the next four years. 1. What is the future of the Republican Party?

Are we the party of business? “America’s business…IS Business.”
Are we the party of economic growth?
Are we the party of the rule of law?

OR, are we the party of “The GOP Platform? It’s whatever Donald Trump say that is.”

What? There is no future for the GOP with Trump. We DIE with Trump.

    Oh? You say I’m wrong?

How about the bastion of economic conservatism, the WALL STREET JOURNAL this morning. This is from the Editorial Board of the WSJ, today, folks:

    WJS Opinion/Review & Outlook, March 2, 2021
“If Trump was so great politically for the GOP, why is the party now out of power?”

“As for Republicans and Mr. Trump, the future isn’t as clear as the press and the former President would like. The CPAC crowd cheered his speech.

Ok. But if CPAC represented America:

Mr. Trump would still reside in the White House, not Mar-a-Lago!
Trump lost to Joe Biden, the old Democratic war horse, by seven million votes!
Trump lost the GOP controlled Senate!
    He lost, even Georgia.

“If 2020 was so fabulous, why are Republicans shut out of power up and down Pennsylvania Avenue?”

“Perhaps the party’s grassroots will begin to look past the Trump era to a new generation of potential standard-bearers. As long as Republicans focus on the grievances of the Trump past, they won’t be a governing majority.”
