USI to hold Southern Indiana Review Fall 2023 issue release celebration

he Southern Indiana Review (SIR), University of Southern Indiana’s nationally recognized literary journal, will celebrate the release of its latest issue with guest speakers from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, January 17 in the McCutchan Art Center/Pace Galleries. The event is open to the public at no charge.

The speakers in order of appearance will be:

  • MonteLee Norton ’26, English major
  • Dr. Del Doughty, Dean of the USI College of Liberal Arts
  • Dr. Rosalie Moffett, Assistant Professor of English
  • Dr. Greg Blair, Assistant Professor of Art and Design
  • Dr. Casey Pycior, Associate Professor of English
  • Peyton Peters ‘25, English major

SIR presents a cross-section of emerging and established artists and writers whose work is both regional and national in scope and degree of recognition. With the support of the Indiana Arts Commission and National Endowment for the Arts, SIR is published in October and May by USI and sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts.
