1) Governor Leads Cops Cycling for Survivors // July 11, 2016. Governor Mike Pence and First Lady Karen Pence lead the first leg of the 15th annual Cops Cycling for Survivors, a 13-day, 1,000 mile bicycle ride across Indiana to honor law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty and to support their survivors.

2) Governor, First Lady Hit the Streets with Indy Ten Point Coalition // July 11, 2016. Governor Mike Pence and First Lady Karen Pence join Reverend Charles Harrison and the Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition, a faith-based anti-crime group, on a walk through two of Indianapolis’ neighborhoods to visit with residents. The Governor and First Lady also stop at Reiss Welding, a company that has partnered with the Ten Point Coalition to hire within the neighborhood.

3) Governor, First Lady Congratulate Mr. and Miss Math and Science Winners // July 12, 2016. Governor Mike Pence and Treasurer of State Kelly Mitchell welcome the 2016 Mr. and Miss Indiana Math and Science winners to the Governor’s Office to honor the students for their exemplary achievements in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) classes and extracurricular activities. Each winner will receive a $1,000 college scholarship through Indiana’s CollegeChoice 529 Direct Savings Plan.

5) Governor Announces Plan to Invest $1 Billion in Hoosier Innovation & Entrepreneurship // July 14, 2016. Governor Mike Pence announces plans to invest $1 billion over the next 10 years to advance innovation and entrepreneurship in Indiana. During remarks at the eighth annual Innovation Showcase in Indianapolis, Governor Pence outlines a proposal to strengthen and accelerate Hoosier innovation through strategic partnerships, ensuring that Indiana plays a leading role in solving 21st century challenges while supporting long-term economic growth, job creation and talent attraction.
