The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana and Field and Main Bank proudly present Modern Craft, fine craftsmanship by contemporary artists.
Modern Craft, on display from August 1st through August 31st, features potter Tom Wintzcak, wood worker Rod Austin, jeweler Lynn Schentrup, weaver Laura Foster Nicholson, as well as Miller Made Collective and the Indiana Kentucky Wood-turners. An opening reception will be held Thursday, August 4, from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
Modern Craft celebrates the preservation of traditional maker techniques and design aesthetics expressed in fine art.
