STRAIGHT NO CHASER IS “BACK IN THE HIGH LIFE,” ANNOUNCING FULL FALL TOUR WITH DECEMBER SHOW IN EVANSVILLE

Evansville, IN – May 12, 2021 – Chart-topping a cappella group Straight No Chaser will hit the road in-person this fall after a year of cancellations due to the pandemic. “Back In The High Life,” is kicking off October 22 and will make a traditional stop in Evansville at Old National Events Plaza’s Aiken Theatre on December 8, 2021.

The group plans to offer livestream ticket holders special access to an early ticket pre-sale on Monday, May 17, followed by their traditional fan pre-sale. “To say we are excited is a huge understatement,” said Evansville native and group member Steve Morgan. “We cannot wait for the curtain to come up and for us to see actual fans and not cardboard cutouts. We are so grateful for our fans who invited us into their homes to perform virtually over the last year, but there is no replacing the real thing.  We cannot wait to feel the energy of being in the same room as our fans again.”

“Back In The High Life” will give fans the opportunity to see the group perform their take of “Leave The Door Open,” the smash hit by Silk Sonic, aka Bruno Mars and Anderson  .Paak. New tracks from last year’s album Social Christmasing, and a mix of brand-new arrangements and fan favorites, will be part of a changing setlist each night. Straight No Chaser will release a deluxe edition of Social Christmasing later this fall.

Old National Events Plaza’s top priority remains the health and safety of guests and employees. New services offered by the venue for in-person concerts include touchless security screenings, merchandise sales, ticketing and concession ordering.The venue continues to follow safety and prevention guidelines recommended by the CDC and public health organizations.
