1. Glad to see this back up on the site. Voters need to be given a heavy dose of SBR between now and November of 2015. There were only a few things I disagreed with in the video but the other 95% of it is spot on. Never thought we would have a representative like this much less her AND Al Lindsey (who should be the next guest on the Woods N Woods show).

   I think I might cry if SBR isn’t moved into the mayor’s office by January 2016. This is a golden opportunity to make a massive change and one we cannot let slip by.

   • I’ll vote for her if she’s who they trot out there but I can’t help but think Rick Davis ought to try again. Maybe the whole “you messed up but you can redeem yourselves, voters” factor could come through. I think SBR would lose, unfortunately.

2. Unfortunately Rick is hard at work establishing his business and I doubt he’ll be interested in running. This is our loss.

3. If you can get SBR to run she has my vote and many others I have talked to. I don’t think she would run simply because she not looking for political gain over the issue at hand, but I say GO SBR run for Mayor of this city nothing would make me happier !

   • Aren’t you and Rails assuming a lot since SBR cannot run for Mayor or Council on the Democrat ticket without a permission slip from the Dem. county chairman? Remember, she votes in Republican primaries now. Who knows who the Dem. party chairman will be in 2015, or what his relationship with SBR will be.

     Besides, she is way too busy with her new special meeting recording duties.

         When our team refers to “while” and “what” the rest of the nation is doing while moving forward we note this stuff, “actually moving forward”.

         Its time right now to scrap you’re local political machine old obsolete functions, maybe recycle anything of reusable elemental metal properties into the new infrastructure such as “manhole covers” or water pipes or a viable 21st century throughput grids.
         Anything that provides continuity pathways for social economic recovery through good jobs now would be “real good”.

         Two years ago, President Obama set an ambitious goal: that the United States would annually attract 100 million international visitors by 2021. Yesterday, from Cooperstown, New York, he announced that we are right on track.

         More than 70 million travelers from around the world visited the United States in the last year alone, up from 55 million just five years ago — and they spent more than $180 billion. This growth in international visitors has also created approximately 175,000 American jobs over those five years.

         Using his pen, the President will sign a Presidential Memorandum calling for reductions in wait times for travelers at our 15 largest airports and take additional executive actions to encourage more international travelers to come to the United States, making it easier for foreign tourists to see more and spend more in the United States.

         That’s a big deal, and will have a huge impact on our economy — and CEOs and business leaders from around the country agree. Take a look at what they’re saying, coming out of yesterday’s announcement — and help spread the word.

           You hit that one on the nailhead! It is time for our local legislators of BOTH parties to move to repeal IC 3-10-1-6!! The State AG wisely chooses not to enforce this archaic law that attempts to mandate party loyalties above a voter’s right to choose the better candidates, but it should be taken off the books. It makes Indiana look even more backward than it is.

           In Evansville the old machine politics focus has made the recovery of personal and business investment on failed infrastructure the number one priority. Clearly not the focus of community needed for social economically balanced recovery.

           In the release from the Whitehouse they speak of gateways for Sustainability forward, that’s scientifically spot on.
           Given the gateways in southwestern Indiana and the approach states bordering that, the commerce access throughput Fail is focused on Evansville.

           Our groups analytics clearly show that, and if one must actually try create forward throughput commerce “with what’s left” of your transportation throughput, one is already two steps behind other thinking and emerging locations. Your leadership clearly failed conceptual balancing by locating the Medical school complex in an low access and failed utilities section right out of the gate.

           The cost due each families house hold in your county are in fact now sporting that bill along with the “higher cost carbon intrusive failures” in the standing infrastructures. leadership again.

           The leadership in Evansville has flat out failed the people historically. Period.
           If the place was a corporate division in a global company they’d be looking for a new location or fire everyone from the mailroom up.
           Finding emerging investment in a business that builds itself core out first proves to be rather overlooked in the rapidly evolving global market places required given any historical or projected focus.
           Accesses “into the business core”, first provisional provides that sustainable balance to “grow the core out”. Failed leadership again.

           Evansville has for the last 50 years failed the grade with this.
           Its more than time (CLEARLY) to get rid of the obsolete methodology of the leadership there. You see, looking in we see, its a now “another requirement” for growth.

           Needs balance. Immediately,and as expediently as the citizens can. We will continue to run the analytics, when some “candidates clearly show support for actual metro citizen based growth” aspect ranges, we will support them with some ideation and innovation that “clearly works” to improve the standing situational needs of the whole community.

           Like Hydra, if you cut off one head, two return. As Gov. Brown did, we need to also try to kill the monster. Like Brown we need to abolish our redevelopment commission, which is nothing more than a branch of local government operated entirely by the local business committee.

         • PAK: Its is a hydra situation alright however those are taken care of by Greek mythology states that Hercules only had to cut of “the one head that was immortal”. Athena gave’um the golden sword and it was curtains for the Hydra, and all the heads.

           In your situation I’d worry more about Southwestern Indiana, than California right now.

       • Having SBR for Democratic County Chairwoman would be a great thing, but I expect that she would be spreading herself too thin. That is because of her growing law practice and being the mother of twin pre-schoolers, not because of the Missy snark attempts. To characterize a Whistle Blower for the cause of good governance in such a way is very typical of Evansville dirty politics.
         I also think anybody who did hold the chairman’s seat would be very stupid to consider the possibility of trying to bar her from whatever primary race she wishes to enter. I don’t think she’d have much difficulty meeting the requirements to run as an “Independent”, so the Democrats would only shoot themselves in the foot again by blocking her from their primary ballot.

       • If SBR is County Chair in 2014, she can write her own pass. That’s up to the precinct committeemen whether they want a county chairwoman that might record and run rumors on every party caucus or private strategy session.

         • I believe Rob Faulkner has a couple more years til he has to run for party chairman again unless he resigns, which he should do. The party is in even worse financial shape than it was under McNeeley, they can’t even get the internet turned on at Democrat HQ and their one computer is in parts

All you dem party workers who lose your CC jobs need to remember who your real friends are. It was the Party Big Wigs that threw you all under the buss. I blame Mark for most all of that. I don’t know who made him do what he did but I’ll never forget it. Rick Davis would have been a better Mayor that what we have right now. We would not have Russ Lloyd with his hands on the City’s Books and finances if Rick has won instead of Winney.

6. Look out TV, Radio and Newspapers as the internet is taking over your place as the news producing outlet for the ordinary people.

   No longer will a few or a handful of people be able to totally control news and information dissemination to the public.

   This is a great idea. And I’m glad that this doesn’t depend on the civic center’s Wi-Fi☺ to work.

   I hope that the Mayor can’t figure out a way to disable the sound system like the Radical Oppressors did to Forest Gump in that movie during the Washington DC Mall scene.

   Now I need to figure out how I can watch this program since I only have basic cable. Are these shows sent out over the air waves so that people with a digital antenna can pick them up on their TV? If so I can hook up my digital antenna to my TV and see this show in real time. If not then I’ll have to try to figure out how to view it over my home computer via the internet.

   I’m not familiar with any of those TV station numbers as I don’t see them on my WOW TV station list. I don’t use the WOW Box as my TV is cable Ready. I didn’t like having to use two different TV remotes. And I hated the wow TV remote controller as I was not at all used to having so many options.

   I’m so glad that this is being produced for TV. This will certainly help to bypass the IMHO biased local stations and the extremely biased local news paper. Stephanie Brinkerhoff Riley (SBR) will get the time to tell her side of the story to everyone. Too bad this could not have been done earlier before the local media did their damage to SBR’s reputation with the uninformed TV views and readers of the ECP.

   • Informational reply here: One of our team members from there just informed us that the C&P was trying to (give away) “free samples” of they’re politically biased raggage at a local grocery outlet today.
     Said she almost took one but the elderly Lady in front of her told the fellow at the entryway he couldn’t give those things away anymore. Said the Woman told him to take the whole stack and give it to the Goodwill industries truck out on the lot.
     That way maybe someone would get a benefit from the manure written on it lately. Honestly that’s what was said, wow when your media can’t do any better than that its days are truly numbered.
     Something was apparently referred to by the Lady as “editorial babyfied” and “juvenal” in the comments,as well as a reference to some network TV stations, as well.

     Sounds like Grannies got their number, to bad we couldn’t have plugged the CCO at the moment, I actually asked my team member if she did, said “no too busy laughing out loud and pointing like everyone else there going in the store”.
