Shooting Victim at Deaconess Midtown

   Around 5:00 a.m., on today’s date, the Evansville Police Department was called to Deaconess Midtown about a person who arrived who had a gunshot wound to his leg. 

 The officers quickly identified that the victim had a gunshot wound to his left leg just above the knee. 

  The victim refused to share details of the shooting. The only information he shared was that he was walking when he was shot, but didn’t know his location and didn’t see anyone shoot at him. 

  When he was taken back to surgery the victim’s girlfriend, who took him to the hospital, simply said that she picked him up somewhere on the east side of Evansville, but could not give an exact location.
