 On September 20th, around 4:30 a.m., Evansville Police Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of E Iowa St. in reference to shots fired. Officers located an adult male victim outside who had been shot. The victim was conscious and able to speak with officers. The victim told officers that he was driving home and realized that he was being followed by a black sedan. When the victim parked in front of his house and exited his vehicle, several male suspects, wearing all black, exited the black sedan with guns and began shooting at him. The victim was hit one time. The victim did not know the suspects. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.Â
