   Will Hurd the Republican congressman whose district consists of 800 miles of the Southern border says Mop Head’s “Great Wall” is a 20th century solution to a 21st Century problem.

   Mr. Hurd claims spending $25 billion on a “Wall” in his district is about as nutty as fixing up Mesker Amphitheatre. But Mr. Hurd claims if it would keep JoeBiden from soiling the CCO Forum in Evansville, Indiana with junkie spam infested links, that spending $25 billion on Mesker would probably be worth it.

     “Those who enter our country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law,” said then-Senator Barack H. Obama in 2006. “And because we live in an age where terrorists are challenging our borders, we cannot allow people to pour into the U.S. undetected. Americans are right to demand better border security.”

     There was no feigned moral outrage when Obama made the same exact claim “without evidence.” The press never held it against him when he ran for president, or during the eight years that he was commander-in-chief.

     It is almost like there is a double-standard in media. One that attacks conservatives but provides cover for liberals based on political expedience.

   Creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti was handed a multi-million dollar judgment against him on the same day that he was evicted from his office.

   The LA Times reports: “Porn actress Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti must pay $4.85 million to an attorney who worked at his former law firm, a California judge ruled Monday in an order that holds the potential presidential candidate personally liable in a lawsuit over back pay. The Los Angeles judge ordered the payout the same day a separate ruling came down evicting Eagan Avenatti LLC from its office space in Southern California after four months of unpaid rent. In the case over back pay, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Dennis Landin ruled that Avenatti personally guaranteed a settlement with attorney Jason Frank, who said Eagan Avenatti misstated its profits and that he was owed millions of dollars.”…

   Big League Politics has learned that Michael Avenatti, lawyer to Stormy Daniels, who owes $5 million in back taxes to the IRS, failed to pay any taxes at all pertaining to his law firm from 2014-2016.

   “In a world riddled with climate-change doomsday predictions, a small but growing number of scientists are saying the highly touted climate models predicting steadily increasing global temperature due to humans’ carbon-dioxide emissions are wrong and that Earth could soon face something even more dire: global cooling.

   One such climate scientist is Valentina Zharkova, an astrophysicist at Northumbria University in the United Kingdom. Zharkova and her team of researchers say that based on mathematical models of the Sun’s magnetic activity, it’s likely Earth will experience decreasing magnetic waves over a 33-year period beginning in 2021.

   Zharkova is not alone. In 2017, researchers at the Physical Meteorological Observatory Davos, the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, ETH Zurich, and the University of Bern published a model projecting a cooling period “in 50 to 100 years’ time.” Numerous other studies have made similar projections. Indeed, the website NoTricksZone lists hundreds of peer-reviewed papers that argue solar activity and solar cycles have a substantial influence on global climate change on decadal, century-long, and millennial time scales. Some of these papers even argue that solar activity is often the dominant factor driving climate change.

5. No charges filed against Curtis Hill my deer hunting buddy from Indy just informed me. Stories of touching were credible and Hill admits some touching occurred.

   40 years ago there were 16 aviation near misses in one year and I just happened to be in one of them.

   I imagine Curtis feels this morning like I did 40 years ago when a Northwest Orient jet’s big red tail went under us in clouds and rain so thick you couldn’t hardly see the blinking light on the tip of the wing but was as visible as Mop Head’s ass walking up the stairs of Air Force One on a clear day.

         “The Indiana Senate race continues to trend towards Hoosier businessman and Republican candidate Mike Braun over Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-IN), according to a poll released on Tuesday.

         An Indy Politics & Mason Strategies poll released on Tuesday found that Braun leads Donnelly by four points—47 to 43 percent—with Libertarian Lucy Brenton capturing three percent and seven percent of Hoosiers remain undecided….

         Stephen Spiker of Mason Strategies said on Tuesday that the poll’s 3.9 percent margin of error essentially makes the Indiana Senate race a tie; however, the survey does serve as a worrying signal for the incumbent Democrat who has continued to lose ground in the contentious Indiana Senate election.

         “When applying the margin of error to each candidate’s vote share, the race is statistically tied,” Spiker explained. “However, two weeks before the election you’d rather be Mike Braun than Joe Donnelly with these numbers.”

         The survey also said that Sen. Donnelly’s vote against confirming Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court gave Braun a five-point advantage over the Hoosier Democrat. Thirty-five percent of likely voters said that Donnelly’s vote against Kavanaugh made it less likely that they will vote for Donnelly, compared to 30 percent who said that his vote against Kavanaugh would make it more likely to back Donnelly, while 32 percent of votes said Donnelly’s vote against Kavanaugh would not impact their decision for the November Senate election.

         The Indy Politics poll also found that Republicans have nearly matched Democrats in voter enthusiasm. Seventy-two percent of Braun voters said that they are “extremely” or “very” interested in voting this November, compared to 74 percent of Braun voters. Forty-two percent of Braun voters said that their enthusiasm is “extreme” compared to 41 percent of Donnelly voters.

         The Indy Politics poll serves as the second poll released this week which had Braun leading. A survey conducted by the Braun campaign found that Braun leads Donnelly by four points. The Braun survey also found that Donnelly has a net unfavorable rating and that 45 percent of Hoosier voters believe that Donnelly serves as part of the “problem” in Washington, DC, compared to only 34 percent that believe Democrat serves as part of the “solution” to America and Indiana’s problems.

         A third poll conducted by the Indiana Business Journal found that Donnelly only leads by one point– 41 to 40 percent– while Brenton has eight percent of the vote, and the survey has a 4.6 percent margin of error. The Journal‘s poll puts victory in the Indiana Senate race well within his grasp.

         Spiker noted that in a state that Donald Trump won during the 2016 presidential election by 20 points, Donnelly needs the momentum to reverse direction towards him for him to win the Indiana Senate race.
