  1. Franklin Street is doing great without the city screwing It up. The last thing we need is turning it into another Main Street.

  2. One of the most shocking posts of the past week, happened yesterday, from Newspeak. He wrote this:
    “So glad Trump is not listening to the intelligence community, they’ve betrayed us for years.”

    This is like Charlie Manson crew talk. I mean, what kind of trash is this? Who are these people?

    But does anyone give a damn what Newspeak thinks? No, of course not. He hates the Patriots protecting America, the FBI, CIA, the NSA, guys who sacrifice their lives and their family’s lives for love of their country. I’m asking again, what kind of trash is this?

    I’m all for free speech. I’m not saying he’s not allowed to write deranged, unpatriotic posts. But accusing our Patriots of being traitors to their country, accusing them of betrayal of the United States?
    We have to stand up to this trash.
    Someday we will get back control of the Republican Party from this ignorant scum narrative.

    • Iraq has Nuclear Weapons, so says the CIA. Thousands of lives , wrecked bodies and trillions of dollars later, no nukes. Hard to understand anyone calling Brenan and Clapper patriots. There are real traitors in the FBI, IRS, DOJ and even the secret service. They’re only patriots when who they want to be president is president. There’s core rot in these organizations that need to be cleaned up now. Trump is truly draining the swamp and has called the intelligence community out, he upset them when he said he didn’t need to hear their daily briefings because it was the same everyday, he only wanted the briefing when there was a change. Listening to your intolerance is a sure indication that you are part of the losing left socialist movement. The liberal arm of the democrat party has outsmarted, outmaneuvered, republicans for years. There was not a traditional republican that could have defeated Hillary it took a non traditional candidate like Trump to do it and put a temporary hold on socialism. It’s obvious to me that like the CIA, DOJ and FBI you are working hard to delegitimize the Trump presidency. Love your pseudo indignation, not becoming, but it is you. Sometimes I feel like Trump, especially when people like you respond to me. I think I just put an extra gallon of crazy in old Schaefer’s tank.

  3. That post from Newspeak yesterday! I’m still burning over it. It typifies all the trash this guy writes here better than anything. Had to re-post it earlier this morning. You can’t attack our US Patriots doing the work of protecting the country from our enemies. They are Patriots! What are you thinking man?

  5. I think if the city would get out of the way of West Franklin St, it would take care of it’s own future. They have created an entertainment niche that the city resents, why, it is not downtown. I would like to see Amy Word-Smith get more involved in city politics. Mayor maybe???

  6. A bedtime story;

    Once upon a time, a president told a lie. The president said, “If the president does it, that means it is not illegal”.

    Which means, siding with Putin against our intelligence agencies and saying it’s a great idea to turn over our diplomats to a serial killer because they criticized him should be legal. Because the president said it.

    Hopefully the midterm elections want a second opinion.
