  1. Trump cannot help himself, he just has to bluster online, thinking he is smarter than everyone else. But that is getting him into massive legal problems. He has become a textbook example of how to obstruct justice, and he will end up in jail

Donald Trump took to Twitter Monday morning, haranguing special counsel Robert Mueller and witnesses to his ongoing Russia investigation. His tweets have become a common morning occurrence, particularly in recent weeks

But legal experts are calling Monday’s missives a newsworthy development that amounts to evidence of obstructing justice

Trump’s first statement went out after Michael Cohen, his former personal attorney who pleaded guilty last week for lying to Congress about the president’s real estate project in Russia. In his tweet, Trump alleged that Cohen lied to Mueller and called for a severe penalty, demanding that his former fixer “serve a full and complete sentence”

After the overt attack on Cohen came a tweet encouraging Roger Stone, a longtime adviser to Trump, not to become a witness against him

Norman Eisen, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, said that the most striking thing about Monday was that there were two statements in proximity

“It comes very close to the statutory definition of witness tampering. It’s a mirror image of the first tweet, only he’s praising a witness for not cooperating with the implication of reward”

Considering Trump has pardon power over Stone, Trump’s derangement may be getting him into legal jeopardy quickly

“We’re so used to President Trump transgressing norms in his public declarations, but this time he may have crossed the legal line”

  2. Still hoping for the answer of whether or not the McCurdy apartments are paying for their current water and sewer bills (knowing they still have the million dollar legal suit with the City for the open geothermal loop).

    • I would like to know if the McCurdy changed anything since the lawsuit or if they are still dumping in the sewer system.

  3. Don’t expect to see this reported in the liberal main stream media:
    ………………………………………………………………………………
“More than 7-in-10 households headed by immigrants in the state of California are on taxpayer-funded welfare, a new study reveals.

The latest Census Bureau data analyzed by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) finds that about 72 percent of households headed by noncitizens and immigrants use one or more forms of taxpayer-funded welfare programs in California — the number one immigrant-receiving state in the U.S….

All four states with the largest foreign-born populations, including California, have extremely high use of welfare by immigrant households. In Texas, for example, nearly 70 percent of households headed by immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare. Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of native-born households in Texas are on welfare.

In New York and Florida, a majority of households headed by immigrants and noncitizens are on welfare. Overall, about 63 percent of immigrant households use welfare while only 35 percent of native-born households use welfare.

President Trump’s administration is looking to soon implement a policy that protects American taxpayers’ dollars from funding the mass importation of welfare-dependent foreign nationals by enforcing a “public charge” rule whereby legal immigrants would be less likely to secure a permanent residency in the U.S. if they have used any forms of welfare in the past, including using Obamacare, food stamps, and public housing.”

    • Any articles that start out from Breitfart show that they are just right-wing despondant because Trump and his cabal are going to jail soon

“Making the point that half of immigrant households use welfare is not true”

“To say that the general rate of use by immigrants of public benefits is anywhere close to 50 percent is an exaggeration and just isn’t supported by the evidence”

Verify: Are Most Immigrants On Welfare?

Trumpy bleated “More than 50 percent of all immigrant households receive welfare benefits, compared to only 30 percent of native households in the United States that receive welfare benefits”

Trumpy and his yammering appears to stem from a 2012 data from the Center for Immigration Studies report that 51 percent of households “headed by an immigrant” used at least one welfare program, compared to 30 percent for native households

But like most right-wing nonsense, the data is cherry picked

But the numbers don’t tell the whole story.

The welfare definition includes free and reduced school lunches, which is “not specifically to people who have applied for assistance”

Moreover, specific welfare programs, such as cash assistance and housing, actually have native households using MORE of these benefits than immigrant households.

“Making the point that half of immigrant households use welfare is not true” said Kim Rueben, an Urban Institute senior fellow who’s also on the National Academy’s research panel.

The National Academy study found that less than 50 percent of immigrant households use Medicaid and food assistance as well

The progressive Center for American Progress said that comparing the two groups is like comparing welfare in a highly developed country to that of “an underdeveloped country”

Qualified immigrants that are new to the United States are “generally BANNED” from receiving welfare benefits in their first five years.

University of California, Davis Law School Dean and immigration expert Kevin Johnson said immigrants cannot be over consuming public benefits because they are not eligible to receive the benefits in the first place.

“To say that the general rate of use by immigrants of public benefits is anywhere close to 50 percent is an exaggeration and just isn’t supported by the evidence” he said.

Trumpy and his claim that the majority more than 50 percent of immigrant households use welfare leaves out important context.

Native households use even more of these benefits in certain categories.

Bottom line, the Trump administration’s claim is not verified.

      • Media Ignore: Census Data Reveals Majority of ‘Non-Citizens’ Are On Welfare

“Tuesday, a new report revealed that most people who reside in the U.S. illegally or on green cards are receiving government benefits. The study, utilizing the latest Census Bureau data from 2014, found that 63% of non-citizen households in America reported being on welfare. While Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo shared the report December 4, ABC, NBC and CBS ignored the findings in Tuesday’s morning coverage.

The study by the Center for Immigration Studies, found that, “63 percent of households headed by a non-citizen reported that they used at least one welfare program, compared to 35 percent of native-headed households.” That means over 4 million non-citizen households have reported to receiving these benefits. To make that worse, the study found, 93% of those same welfare recipients have at least one worker.

While the media has loudly called the notion that illegal immigrants receive government benefits a “myth,” the facts aren’t on their side.

The number keeps on growing as well. A previous study from the same group using census data from 2009, revealed that 57% of non-citizens reported being on welfare, and the newest study projects that number increasing to 70% in the coming decade.

Despite the Trump administration’s’ efforts to curb this problem, the media has unsurprisingly attacked him for it, writing sensational headlines like this one from The Washington Post: “Now the Trump Administration is Trying to Punish Legal Immigrants for Being Poor,” and this from The New York Times: “How Trump’s Plan for Immigrants on Welfare Could Hurt a Million New Yorkers.”

While the media had no problem obsessively protecting the caravan of illegal migrants with numerous falsehoods, they conveniently are silent when facts fly in the face of their liberal narrative.
