Police Called for Sunburst Shooting

 Around 10:45 p.m. on July 11, the Evansville Police Department was called to the area of 2500 Sunburst Boulevard for a shots fired run.  When officers arrived they located a victim who had blood coming from his shorts. After checking closer, they could tell the victim had been shot twice, in both legs. The first responding officers rendered aid to the victim until an ambulance and the fire department arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital by an ambulance. He is expected to survive his injuries.
