IS IT TRUEÂ on April 9, 2014, the City of Evansville was served with a TORT CLAIM NOTICE against the Evansville Police Department? …this notice states that you are hereby notified that Angel Santiago Pedrosa, does hereby make claim against the Evansville Police Department, unknown Officers, and other agents, and other representatives, and the City of Evansville for violations of his civil rights, harassment, and damages as the result of the Evansville Police Department’s unprofessional misconduct, and abuse of power? …this TORT CLAIM NOTICE also alleges that on April 2, 2015, Mr. Pedrosa was pulled from a vehicle he was a passenger in by numerous officers with the Evansville Police Department? …Mr. Pedrosa was repeatedly tazed, struck and punched by officers who kept shouting for Mr. Pedrosa to stop resisting? …the other passenger in the vehicle with Mr. Pedrosa was able to record the incident, with his cellular phone, and the recording clearly shows Mr. Pedrosa was not resisting, and that Mr. Pedrosa was the victim of a vicious, unprovoked, attack by the officers? …that this TORT CLAIM NOTICE further alleges that the acts of the Evansville Police Department were criminal, willful, wanton and malicious, as those terms are contemplated by 1.c. 34-13-1 et. seq., and were contrary to the written policies of the Evansville Police? …in addition, the conduct of the Evansville Police Department violated Mr. Pedrosa’s constitutional rights? …the amount of damages sought by the claimant is $700,000? …that well known and agressive trial lawyer Mark K. EPD on scene, AMR & E1 en route”. ‪#‎ewatch‬?  …*UPDATE 3:50pm: “Apparently the victim in this was not stabbed, but was beaten by the suspect. IS IT TRUEÂ it’s about time the Evansville City Council address the use of City Fire trucks at political picnics and rallies? …last Saturday “Evansville’s First Lady” McClintock posted on her Facebook that the Lorraine Park Picnic hosted by Missy Mosby and Laura Brown Windhorst was a great event? …only a few area residents (around 15 people) attended this event? …Evansville Fire Station #16 was in attendance at this poorly attended event? …the Mayor and “First Lady” McClintock were the only invited special political guests at this event?
IS IT TRUEÂ that months and months ago Jeffrey Fisher was named General Manager of WEVV.? … when Bayou Broadcasting purchased the station they promised they would bring back a local news program each night on CBS44 and possibly FOX44? …the station’s sale has been finalized, Fisher is now General Manager replacing Tim Black and still there is no local news show? …what are we waiting for? … we encourage Jeff to get started immediately and enhance the local news competition in the Evansville area?

This weeks program features City Councilwoman Stephanie Brinkerhoff-Riley giving us an extremely investing presentation a the looming city debt facing the taxpayers of this community? … we agree with Brinkerhoff-Riley statement that professional services contracts should be bid out? …if this happens the taxpayers would save millions of dollars every year?
