Owner of Newburgh Soccer Academy Arrested for Child Seduction

Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation on Monday, July 29, after receiving information that Jeremy Michael Tudela, 37, of Evansville, allegedly had sexual contact with one of his female soccer students.

During the investigation, Indiana State Police Detectives Josh Greer and Rob Gardner were able to determine Tudela is the owner of Tudela Soccer Academy in Newburgh and the female victim was under the age of 16. The investigation also revealed Tudela allegedly had sexual contact with the female on several occasions between November 2018 and June 2019.

After reviewing the investigation the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office issued a felony warrant for Tudela’s arrest. This afternoon at approximately 1:30, Tudela was arrested near his residence without incident and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where he is currently being held on a $20,000 cash bond.
