            INDIANAPOLIS - I recently received the information below from the Indiana Attorney General’s Office and wanted to ensure that you were made aware of it, as well. Please forward this email to anyone you know who might have an interest. Thank you.

Online guides are available to help individuals who have a loved one who may have an addiction disorder—or who need help themselves.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse has developed step-by-step guides for people with loved ones who might have an addiction disorder, or for people seeking to help themselves. They are in simple, “Q-&-A” format, and include easy-to-understand videos.

Among the issues addressed in these online resources are:

  • how to determine if a person needs treatment;
  • how and where to find the proper treatment for an individual;
  • what happens in treatment; and
  • how to find help in paying for drug addiction treatment services.
