92, Evansville, IN, passed away on July 11, 2019. She was born on September 14, 1926 in Ohio County, KY to the late Hollie and Artie (Wells) Miller.
She was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church and a former member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church and First Southern Baptist Church.
Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Bennett who passed away in 1973; husband, Lloyd O. Young (2010); brothers, Hollie Dean Miller and Thomas Miller; sister, Florence Bayless; and twin sister, Mary Virginia Coomes.
She is survived by daughter, A. Lynne Stanford (Chuck); sons, Marion “Chip†Bennett and Lloyd A. Young (Julie); ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Good Samaritan Nursing home and Aseracare Hospice.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday July 15, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel officiated by Rev. Don Moore with burial at Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson, KY. Friends may visit on Sunday 2-6pm at the funeral home.
