With heavy hearts, at the age of 85, we announce the death of Bernie Lee Carlisle (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on September 3, 2019. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Carlisle and Ova Jewell Carlisle (Bransford); his sisters, Beatrice Taylor and Allyne Dickinson. He is survived by : his wife Cyrilla Carlisle (Waigand Daily); his children, David Carlisle (Birdena) of Bloomington, IN, Rebecca “Sue” Kirves (Danny), Cynthia Secor (Jim) of Bacliff, Carla Beaton (Dennis) of Evansville, Patricia Cron (Jeff) of Evansville and Russell Carlisle (Sarah) of Evansville. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital, 705 Riley Hospital Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5th 2019 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 6th 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 6th 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Ziemer Funeral Home – East Chapel (800 S Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN 47714, USA).
