Old Business: 

  1. Vision IV Special Parking Permit At Location 400 N 7th Ave. Evansville, IN 47710 

Motion By Richard Hubbard To Approve, 2nd Kaycee Zeller By And So Ordered And Approve A Special Parking Permit If The Below Recommendations Are Followed: 

BPS RECOMMENDATIONS WITH REGARDS TO VISION IV SPECIAL PARKING PERMIT 

  1. Only One (1) Semi-Tractor Trailer Can Be Parked In Front Of Vision IV At Any One Time. 
  2. Safety Cones Must Be Used At All Times While Trailers Are Being Loaded Or Unloaded In The Street. Safety Cones Should Include Flashing Lights During Early Morning Deliveries. 
  3. Safety Chains Should Be Placed On Cones In The Roadway To Prevent Forklifts From Leaving The Enclosed Area. 
  4. Each Semi Tractor-Trailer Will Be Allowed 1 Hour Maximum To Load And Unload In The Roadway. 
  5. Vision IV Must Provide BPS With The Company’s Written Policies And Procedures Documenting The Safety Precautions That The Company Has Adopted For The Unloading And Loading In The Street. The Formal Policy And Procedure Document Should Include A Forklift Driver Sign Off Acknowledging These Protocols And Procedures Maintained By Vision IV In Their Files. 
  6. Vision IV Will Be Required To Indemnify And Hold Harmless The City Of Evansville For Damages That Occur As A Result Of The Company’s Unloading And Loading In The Street. 
  7. All Forklifts Must Be Equipped With Backup Alarms So Pedestrians And Traffic Can Be Aware Of Equipment Backing Up. 
  8. Forklifts Must Remain In On Vision IV Property, Not In The Right Of Way, When Not Unloading.
