“LEFT JAB AND RIGHT JAB” JULY 25, 2019

“LEFT JAB AND RIGHT JAB”

“Right Jab And Left Jab” was created because we have two commenters that post on a daily basis either in our “IS IT TRUE” or “Readers Forum” columns concerning National or International issues.
Joe Biden and Ronald Reagan’s comments are mostly about issues of national interest.  The majority of our “IS IT TRUE” columns are about local or state issues, so we have decided to give Mr. Biden and Mr. Reagan exclusive access to our newly created “LEFT JAB and RIGHT JAB”  column. They now have this post to exclusively discuss national or world issues that they feel passionate about.
We shall be posting the “LEFT JAB” AND “RIGHT JAB” several times a week.  Oh, “LEFT JAB” is a liberal view and the “RIGHT JAB is representative of the more conservative views. Also, any reader who would like to react to the written comments of the two gentlemen is free to do so.

  1. Having watched the House committee’s hearings yesterday, it became increasingly clear Mueller was not integral in the “investigation”, nor was he involved in the writing of the report bearing his name. Per Chuck Todd and Wolf Blitzer, it was a disaster for the Democrats. A rare agreement with Donald Trump and the majority of American citizens, no less.

    • Oh get a freaking clue. How many CEO’s know everything that happens in a company of thousands of staff. The right-wing is stupidly hung up on the issue that Mueller said without equivocation that Trump CAN be prosecuted when he gets kicked out of office in 2020. He can have a cell next to Manafort, Gates, Cohen, and Flynn. It’s not a matter of if, its a matter of when

      • So, you equate Mueller to a CEO of a company with thousands of employees? During his testimony, he said there were 22 or 23 attorneys of which 14 came from within the DOJ. He couldn’t keep track of 22 or 23 employees. Get a freaking brain. You are merely a troll operating from a position of ignorance.

        Believe it.

  2. What EVERYONE heard yesterday by Mueller other than the right-wing:

NO the president was NOT exonerated

YES the Office of Legal Counsel decision about not indicting a sitting president PREVENTED him from considering charges against Trump

YES Trump could be charged once he leaves office

YES the campaign accepted help from Russian affiliates

YES Trump associates tried to cover that up

YES Russia tried to influence the election for Trump

    No Russia has not stopped

“They’re doing it as we sit here” Mueller said.

Mueller’s testimony, his matter-of-fact, yes-or-no answers, did provide damning soundbites. Republicans attempted to discredit Mueller by quizzing him on conspiracies, campaign donations, and alleged leaks. But the former FBI director’s refusal to tread into new territory or discuss matters currently under investigation left Republicans with little to celebrate

Throughout hours of questioning, Mueller did concede to the characterization of Trump’s wrongdoing. Trump’s encouragement of WikiLeaks gave a “boost” to what “is and should be illegal activity” Mueller said. “It’s wrong for campaigns to accept dirt on an opponent from a foreign power”

Mueller SPECIFICALLY agreed that a president could be indicted after leaving office, and also explained he did not subpoena Trump to force an in-person interview because he was worried the court battle would have taken too long
