FOOTNOTE:  We would like to personally thank many of our readers for expressing their good wishes and support to our Publisher during the time of a major medical crisis.  Special thanks to the outstanding doctors and medical staff at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. for providing him with excellent health care over the last 17 days.  

During the last several days he has been quietly resting at his Evansville home enjoying a belated Christmas with his family.  Although his medical issues hasn’t been corrected we are becoming encouraged about his progress.

  1. Of course the Russian government wanted Trump to win. Hillary spent the last three months of her campaign strongly implying, and at times outright threatening, she would take the US to war with them. The Russians would be idiots not to have wanted a Trump victory.

    • or perhaps it was revenge? When Bill Clinton was president, Putin run for president of Russia and Clinton interfered with the Russia election process behind the scenes causing Putin to loss. Pay back can hell ..

    • These are the hazards of voting for a reality-TV star to be President. Bunch of dumb-asses who are stupid dogs who got talked off a meat wagon.

      Trump ran for fame, to be famous, and “because he thought it would be cool to be President.” Like a reality TV star, he would say anything, tell lies about what he was gonna do (like this Mexican wall thing that, instead of Mexico paying for it, the US Congress is gonna pay for it). Those dumb-ass dogs who got talked off the meat wagon? They now claim they love the Leader of Communist Russia!

      The (only) Trump term is starting with a bomb…:

      Communist Russia tried to help Trump win.
      It’s the Mark Of Cain for a US President. Stained for history.
      Maybe it worked. Maybe it didn’t. Maybe he won on his own.
      Does that really matter? It does not.
      What matters is “Communist Russia tried to help Trump.”

      This guy is gonna get taken down by his own Republican Party via the US Congress.
      NO-ONE is walking away from THAT shiny object.

            Never ever did you hear me say Trump couldn’t win even though the polls said different, because I saw people around me who weren’t even registered signing up to vote for Trump. And this is what put him over the top;

            Trump’s margin among whites without a college degree is the largest among any candidate in exit polls since 1980. Two-thirds (67%) of non-college whites backed Trump, compared with just 28% who supported Clinton, resulting in a 39-point advantage for Trump among this group. In 2012 and 2008, non-college whites also preferred the Republican over the Democratic candidate but by less one-sided margins (61%-36% and 58%-40%, respectively).

            Russia obviously was involved in this election but even they have admitted after seeing Trump trash a Gold Star family they believed he was nuts and didn’t stand a chance of winning.

            So they backed off, Obama’s threat against them not withstanding, and let the good ole boys seal the deal.

            Bottom line. Russia did not decide the outcome of this election, the people who share Trump’s values did.

            And that’s why someone who said Ted Cruz’s pappy had something to do with assassinating Kennedy is going to be President of the United States.

            And therefore why I realize you stay so upset. Because you have every right to….

      • Obviously, there are many unhappy Dems especially in LaLaWood, the land of the snowflake. Why are they not focusing on the DNC rigged system ..remember Ms Shulz and poor Bernie who got the shaft. If the true Dem had a fair shake, Bernie would have the the nominee and he would have been president ..the snowflakes have only themselves to blame.

    • One might jump to this conclusion, however, what bolds the question is why would they prefer Trump over Clinton when Trump’s message has been a build-up in our military and apparently expansion of the “nukes”? And, Trump’s apparent position on energy independence, i.e. the shipments of liquified natural gas to Europe. Why would Putin want somebody in the Oval Office that could break the strangle hold the Russians have on Europe’s dependence of gas supply from Russia?

  3. ..about this Russian hacking revelation, it is clear that back in 2009, the Russians and other nationals were conducting cyber war. As such, why in the hell would Hilliary Rodum Clinton and the DNC allow themselves to be hacked especially knowing that top secret data was on her apparent unsecured server ..as reported, the DNC’s password was “password” how stupid can you be!!!

    • Yep ..the Chinese hack millions of federal employees social security numbers and dates of birth and this President idly stood by and did NOTHING .. where are the sanctions against China? Then we have the former Secretary of State who stated that the Pacific Trans Treaty was the Gold Standard and allow China to continue to manipulate their currency and dump aluminum below our cost and now we have 600 middle class workers OUT OF WORK, i.e. ALCOA ..maybe this is why PA, OH, MI, WI and damned near MN working class voters going for the TV star?
