  1. Casino “Deal” is Unclear,—OR– maybe it is Clear.
    As reported in the Media.
    1. City to receive a $25 Million Dollar pre-payment of Rent from Tropicana.
    2. City to Give (in return) a $20 Million Dollar Rent credit to Tropicana when Casino opens.

If this is True,— then,— for a advance of $25 Million, the City will give a Additional $20 million dollar
rent credit in return for the Advancement

If this is True,– Winnecke and Company are tossing $20 Million Dollars of FUTURE Revenue in to the “Pot”,—- just to get their hands on $25 Million Spending money in the NOW.
Bend over Evansville, this is the “Leadership” you wanted–and apparently your Children are going to “Pay” for!

What is the TRUE story/deal CCO?—Check it out, We all would like to Know.

    • I hope this isn’t a duplicate post, but I got an “error” message, so I’m saying this again. Intelligent, classy people usually opt for increasing gratification through deferring it. The childish, stupid, and lower class want instant gratification, so why would we be surprised that Winky, Missy, and the Beave would want it all NOW?

      • Ultimately, instant gratification is the nation’s greatest problem. People like me can rightly decry government spending, but most of what they spend is because people want stuff now and politicians want to be elected. While our government’s debt load is unreasonable, our families carry unreasonable personal debt used to buy stuff and often useless degrees…and beer with pizza if one is a young college student.

  2. How long a time period will the $20M credit run? Until the end of what year? What exactly is Tropicana “renting” from the city of Evansville for that time period?

  3. Evansville needs to have her own sequel to the movie “Casino” once the gambling and casino shows are moved on land , taxpayer money is nothing but a magic act ,

  4. You all are so on it. Robbing from the futureto pay bad deals of the present is The Winni Winning Formula (WWF) to destroy Evansville’s good credit.

    • “To youth twenty dollars and twenty years seem not quickly spent” Poor Richard’s Almanac. Might also apply to government.
