Evansville, IN — Ivy Tech Community College is hosting a special college visit day for homeschool students in grades 11 and 12 and their parents to learn about the college.
Homeschool College Visit Day will be from 9 a.m. to Noon on Tuesday, May 7 at Ivy Tech Evansville, 3501 North First Avenue. Lunch will be provided.
Informative and immersive experiences will be provided so students and families can learn about the college and explore potential careers, including:
- Meeting with faculty from a wide range of academic programs, including human services, entrepreneurship, advanced manufacturing, and information technology
- Discovering dual enrollment and the Free Summer initiative
- Learning about the wide range of student support services in place at the college
- Learning how Ivy Tech can prepare students for a career or transfer to a four-year university
