First Security Bank received the Small Business of the Year award from the Southwest Indiana Chamber of Commerce at their Annual Meeting and Dinner on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015. The Chamber has over 1,700 business memberships and is the second largest chamber of commerce in Indiana.

First Security Bank expanded into the Evansville market in 2008, after the acquisition of Warrick Loan and Savings Company of Boonville, Ind. The first Evansville branch is located at 123 S. Green River Road. In 2012, they expanded their reach with the acquisition of a former Integra Bank branch in Newburgh, Indiana located at 7833 W. State Route 66. Later that year, they completed the purchase of four floors of the main office of the former Integra Bank headquarters located at 21 S.E. Third St. The bank currently employs approximately 150 employees, of which 22 work in the Evansville market.

In 2014, First Security Bank was awarded Owensboro Business of the Year by the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce. The bank has posted record performance for the past several quarters.
