Evansville Rescue Mission

Still 22 days ‘til Christmas
James was sharing an apartment with a friend here in Evansville – just getting back on his feet – when the bottom dropped out from under him and he became homeless. Because he was working a night shift, no other shelter would take him. But we did, and that helped him get back on his feet physically, financially and spiritually. Not only does he have a roof over his head and three meals a day, but he’s receiving medical help and he’s surrounded by “people of faith.”

James’s story is similar to many who come to the Evansville Rescue Mission for food, shelter and help changing the direction of their lives.

This year, please add a person like James to your gift list by making a specialChristmas donation to the Mission.

Your gift of $49.68 can provide 23 meals for those who are hungry. $99.36 means meals and other vital care that can really change lives. Larger gifts help more people.

Please, make your gift right here, right now.

  1. Sadly, there are way too many in our society that would prefer to see the homeless and disabled rounded up and executed then buried in lime rather than face the problems that caused their plight in the first place.
