Two enrollment information sessions are planned for EVSC’s Early College High School, now in its second year and housed at Ivy Tech Community College. These sessions target this year’s eighth grade class – next year’s freshmen – at any school in the area. Partners include Ivy Tech, Vincennes University and the University of Evansville.
Sessions are planned on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 5:30 p.m. in the Vectren Auditorium at Ivy Tech Community College, 3501 N. First Avenue. A second session is planned at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, in Rooms 101 and 102 at Ivy Tech.
Students enrolled in Early College can earn up to 60 hours of college credit while simultaneously earning their high school diploma. Students enrolled in Early College High School will spend part of their school day at Ivy Tech’s campus and part at their home high school. During the junior year, students will choose degree pathways offered by Vincennes University and Ivy Tech. Students also may enroll in select courses at the University of Evansville.
