Evansville Police are investigating a purse snatching that happened around 3:30p.m. yesterday at the east side Wall Mart.
Investigators are looking for a white male in his early 20’s. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt. He got into the backseat of a black Nissan Altima and the driver sped away. While fleeing the area, the driver struck a pedestrian near the Home Depot. The Nissan was last seen near the Radio Shack parking lot.
A witness said the Nissan had a broken drivers side mirror and possibly had out of state license plates.
An ambulance was called for the pedestrian. His injuries were not life threatening.
