EVANSVILLE, IN – Eastland Mall will host a special Traveling City Hall meeting on Saturday,
September 15, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. near Dillard’s between Fred Meyer Jewelers and Helzberg

Diamonds. Eastland Mall will donate gift cards that will be awarded through a random drawing at the
end of the meeting. Winners must be present during the drawing to receive a prize.

“Eastland Mall hosts many community events,” said Marketing Manager Sean Ferguson. “We feel like
the Traveling City Hall meeting provides a huge benefit for the community. We were pleased to work
with the Mayor’s office to make this happen.”

Mayor Lloyd Winnecke said he welcomes the partnership with Eastland Mall to offer a special
Traveling City Hall at the Mall.

“I’d like to thank Eastland Mall management for this wonderful opportunity to showcase the
monthly Traveling City Hall program at a venue where hundreds of people will have a chance
to meet city department heads to ask questions or talk about issues that are important to them
and their neighbors,” said Mayor Winnecke. “This will also give my administration a chance to
share information on city services, such as the Fall Heavy Trash Collection program, and new
initiatives, such as Energize Evansville and Fitness in the Park.”

The October Traveling City Hall meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 31, from 5:30 to 7
p.m. at St. John United Methodist Church, 1900 N. Fulton Ave. November’s Traveling City Hall
meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Northeast Park Baptist
Church, 1215 N. Boeke Rd. Organizations interested in hosting a Traveling City Hall meeting
