EARLY CHILDHOOD GOES WILD
Come along as we step outside to have fun and explore nature! This new outdoor series will follow our traditional schedule structure but with a twist – all activities will happen in a shaded, outdoor nature space and will feature a small family class size.

Wacky Water
Thursday, July 23
Explore all things water in this brand-new outdoor program. From testing water properties to sensory play, your little ones will become water experts and possibly get a little wet! We will be conducting science experiments and creating water-based art as well. Other activities include story time and station explorations.

Nature Play
Tuesday, August 11
Take advantage of the nature around the museum during this special summer program. Kids will become nature explorers as we create nature-inspired art, explore mud painting, and go on a scavenger hunt.

Creepy Crawlers
Saturday, August 15
It’s all about bugs in this special outdoor program! Check out specimens from our extensive collection with real science tools and of course exploring creepy crawling habitats through sensory play. Other activities include interactive story times and bug-inspired art.

HOW WE’RE STAYING SAFE
- Staff are wearing face coverings/masks.
- We are following local and national recommendations, face coverings/masks are highly recommended for outdoor programs.
- Face coverings/masks are required indoors.
- Outdoor activity stations are spread out to accommodate social distancing guidelines.
- Hand sanitizer is available.
- Staff are cleaning and sanitizing at increased intervals.
- Families will receive their own supplies and will not be sharing.
“BECOMING ARTISTS†CAMP IN A BOX FOR LITTLE ONES
Have you ordered your Camp in a Box for your young learner yet? Campers will explore different mediums and create masterpieces with this kit containing an activity guide and the needed supplies. The activity guide will help young artists (ages 4-6) grow their skills and create new projects – and of course have fun along the way!
