Gibson County – Indiana State Police is currently conducting a death investigation at 603 South Lincoln Street in Fort Branch. At approximately 5:53 p.m., Gibson County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call regarding an unconscious male in the driver’s seat of car parked in the driveway at the residence. The male was pronounced dead by the Gibson County Deputy Coroner. Indiana State Police has identified the 48-year-old male as Steven L. Wallace. He resided at the residence located at 603 South Lincoln.
Foul play is not suspected. An autopsy will be scheduled for a later date.
