Mosby Says Controversy was Unnecessary
Apparently, the fundraiser next week has generated a little controversy. It shouldn’t.
Two weeks ago, City Councilman Curt John approached me and other candidates for City Council about hosting a fundraiser. He wanted to help those candidates who had asked him for financial assistance and who had also paid their spring assessments to the Vanderburgh County Democratic Central Committee. Curt asked me to help with the event by collecting responses.
This event should have been seen as a positive effort to help these candidates for City Council raise money for their respective campaigns. Any other interpretation of this event is unfounded. However, if for any reason people are upset about this event, I do apologize
Missy Mosbey is one of Weinzapfels cronies and needs to be voted out of office. The city of Evansville needs change not the same old song and dance we have had to deal with Weinzapfel and his gang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Her apology at the end makes her previous statements seem like B.S. If she truly felt like she did nothing wrong, why not explain herself and let that be the last word. When you make a mistake, own up to it. If you feel you didn’t make a mistake, stand by your words/actions and make no apologies.
Agreed….if she is being truthful then why the need to be apologetic? I guess it to give all of us a warm fuzzy feeling that she does care….I’m not buying it.
