The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an Evansville man on a charge of Child Molesting. The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation following the disclosure of the alleged crime at Holly’s House. Ryan Patrick Eagles, age 19, was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with Child Molesting, a Class B Felony.
Following an interview with the 13 year-old victim, search warrants were obtained and Eagles was brought to the Sheriff’s Command Post. During an interview, Eagles admitted to engaging in sexual activity with the victim. He also admitted to knowing the age of the victim prior to engaging in the activity.
Sheriff’s detectives are continuing their investigation and more victims and charges may be forthcoming. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Section at 421-6339. Eagles was arrested and made a court appearance. He was released today on a $10,000.00 cash bond.
