Arrest made in East Side Little League Baseball concession stand burglary

Evansville Police have arrested 45 year old STEVEN WILLOUGHBY on Burglary, Theft, and Drug charges following an investigation into a burglary of the East Little League Baseball facility. The burglary was reported to police Wednesday morning and Willoughby was arrested Wednesday at 8:00pm.
Police believe Willoughby broke into the facility and took cash, food, candy, and a case of baseball hats. An tip to Evansville Police identified Willoughby as the suspect and led the recovery of some of the items.
At the time of his arrest, Willoughby was in possession of items stolen from a car earlier in the day. He was also in possession of meth, a syringe, and several controlled substances.
Willoughby was charged with 2 counts of Burglary, 2 counts of Theft from a building, Theft from a car, Possession of Meth, Possession of a syringe, Possession of a Legend Drug, and 2 counts of Possession of Schedule I Narcotics.
