  1. The plan is very forward looking, and demonstrates a firm grasp of needs and realistic goals.

  2. I’m sorry….I’m not impressed, most of his bullet points (3-5) a sitting mayor of Evansville will have limited input if asked at all, #1 and #2 are just basic common sense if you drive any street in Evansville, while I’m glad that Mr Winnecke chose to address this topic I don’t see any great revelations in what he’s suggesting, nor any mention sans riverboat money how anything would be funded….is there really any riverboat money left that isn’t already earmarked for projects? and if people wise up and stop going to the boat then what? I’m all for bringing back the city’s BPW dept when it was ran correctly it was a city asset, but I have this nagging thing in my head that says do more with less, it’s a oxymoron at best.

    • Where is your boy Davis’ vision for Evansville? Right now it seems like Lloyd is up 2-0. Davis is really good about telling what he doesn’t want and what the people he talks to don’t want. What does he want to see happen with the city? Does he have any idea how to run a city of this size? Infrastructure and transportation may not be as exciting as a natatorium (please read in a sarcastic tone), but at least Winnecke is putting a plan out there for voters to see. It’s an ignorant electorate who votes for someone who can only say “I’m against that!” This town needs someone with the mental capacity to plan for the future, not just disagree with people. Tea Baggers are really good at saying no and we all know how much good their influence is having on politics (once again, please apply sarcastic tone).

  3. Boy, I needed a laugh today!

Tell me again, Lloyd, how each jet DEPARTURE brings in local visitor dollars and local spinoff multipliers? [Oh, my, gosh!]

Sickening, this is as good as it gets.

Isn’t it true that our political process is totally broken if there is more argument between commenters and candidates than between the candidates themselves – supposedly, competing for a political appointment – supposedly, competing for our votes?
