Evansville, In.:  After opening the 2023-24 season at home against the Huntsville Havoc this past Saturday night, the Thunderbolts now prepare for their first game on the road, with a single game in Peoria against the Rivermen this Friday night.

In Evansville’s home opener against the Havoc on Saturday, neither side was able to score a goal in the first two periods.  The Thunderbolts managed to grab the first lead of the night as Riley MacRae scored midway through the third period, however that lead was short lived, as Huntsville tied the game on a goal that was awarded following video review.  The Havoc took the lead less than two minutes later and came away victorious by a 2-1 score.
