IS IT TRUE that the most important issue for Vanderburgh County and Evansville today is the coronavirus pandemic? Â …we are glad that some of our locally elected and appointed officials realize this? Â …it’s about time that some of our State and Federal elected and appointed do the same?
IS IT TRUE we are told by several business owners that they are pleased with the activities of the  Re-Open Evansville Task Force are doing in helping to economically protect local businesses from closing the COVID-19 virus pandemic? Â
IS IT TRUEÂ people all over America are feeling the way that life has demolished by the “sheltering in place” orders that have prevented them from opening their
businesses?…small businesses are the backbones on which the United States was built on? ..the “sheltering in place” decision leaves very little hope for people whose lives are entwined with their family-owned businesses?…this is something that should be addressed in any future stimulus package decisions?
IS IT TRUE that it’s been reported by the mainstream media that a couple of West Franklin Street “Watering Holes” may have blatantly violated the Board of Health mandated ‘Masks and Social Distracting” rules? …if this is true we highly recommend for them to follow the example of “Masks and Social Distracting” practices at the Historial Westside Lamasco Taven?
IS IT TRUE It’s been rumored that City Councilperson Kaitlin Moore Morley has recently purchased a home in New Harmony? Â ….we hope that she purchased this home as an investment and not to be used as her primary place to live?… if the rumor is true that this home will be her primary place of residence we wonder if Councilperson Kaitian Moore Morley will be required to resign from Evansville City Council?
IS IT TRUE that the Jehovah’s Witnesses have canceled their 2021 convention in Evansville?  …that the Jehovah’s Witness convention is one of the largest group meetings that has taken place annually in Evansville the past few years?  …that the future of the Jehovah’s Witness convention is now in doubt in the coming years? …we hope that the leadership of the Evansville Convention and Visitors Bureau can encourage the Jehovah’s Witnesses convention to continue to hold their future conventions in Evansville?
IS IT TRUEÂ that we support those who have taken to the streets to exercise their First Amendment rights to peacefully express their anger and sorrow about the mistreatment and deaths of people of color? …we strongly opposed the discrimination and racial injustice of people of color? Â …we also oppose discrimination of people of all races, color, creed, and sexual orientation.
IS IT TRUE that since the “defund the police” movement has taken hold in some large American cities violent crime has increased by over 100% in many of those cities? Â …we strongly opposed the Defending of Law Enforcement? Â …we give 5 cheers to members of our local law enforcement for protecting the masses during times like this?

IS IT TRUEÂ we were told by alleged renowned scientists that the CORVID-19 virus will not live above 78 degrees and today the states of California, Arizona, Texas, and Florida have become hot spots?…these are places that do not even get below 78 degrees right now at night?
IS IT TRUE the stark reality is that newspapers across the country are victims of large investment groups that have cut talent, alienated advertisers, and produced irrelevant biased narratives?…at this rate, there will only be a handful of newspapers still in print in the United States in 10 years?
IS IT TRUE that The Gannett building in Stockton, CA where the Stockton Record newspaper has been housed for years is about to be sold to be converted to a homeless shelter?
IS IT TRUE we are extremely pleased with the way EPD Special Projects Coordinator Philip Smith is conducting himself?
IS IT TRUE when the people fear the Government we have Tyranny? …when Government fears the people we have Liberty?
