Programs Offer Info on Important Financial Topics

Evansville, IN – Upcoming programs at the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library will focus on two important financial topics: saving for retirement and paying for college.

Making Your Money Last Through Retirement is designed for those 40-80 years of age who are planning for, or are already in, retirement. Learn about choices for those at all income levels to lower the stress of saving for retirement. This program will take place on the following dates at two locations:

· Monday, July 16, 6:00 pm – Red Bank Branch, 120 S. Red Bank Rd.
· Monday, August 13, 6:00 pm – McCollough Branch, 5115 Washington Ave.

Helping Parents and Grandparents Pay for College will offer information about tax credits and deductions that can help pay for the increasing costs of college and technical school. Special attention will be focused on Indiana’s 529 college savings plan. These sessions will take place:

· Monday, July 23, 6:00 pm – Red Bank Branch
· Monday, August 20, 6:00 pm – McCollough Branch
