IS IT TRUE that our “INDY MOLES” tell us that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump will be holding a political rally in Central Indiana on Tuesday, following a private fundraiser at the Columbia Club in downtown Indianapolis on Tuesday? … Pence will join Trump at this fundraiser on Tuesday?  …our “Indy Moles” tells us that  that Trump will announce that Governor Pence will be his running mate?

IS IT TRUE don’t be surprised to hear that State Auditor Suzanne Crouch may be a candidate for Governor or Lieutenant Governor?

IS IT TRUE that the proposed ordinance devoted to putting numerous limitations on allowing citizens to ask questions or speak to Council concerning matters will come before City Council tonight?   …we believe this ordinance dances around the edges of infringing the First Amendment rights of Evansvillians?   …we understand that there is a practical need to limit speaking time in instances when an item is controversial, but holding the option of refusing to hear the voice of the people being regulated is NOT in the best interest of the public?  …that our Civic Center “Mole” tells us that a movement may be afoot to water down this ordinance so it will allow citizens to address Council without any major restrictions?

IS IT TRUE we received a few inquires asking us why Rev. Brooks and 4th Ward Councilwoman Connie Robinson hasn’t announced that they are planning a peaceful “Black Life’s Matters” march?  …soon as we hear something we shall forward it on?

IS IT TRUE that Old National Insurance Corp has been acquired by Prime Risk Partners of Atlanta, and will now operate under the name ONI Risk Partners?  …not only do we wonder how much Old National Bank Insurance was sold for but also why did Old National Bank decide to sell this major ONB asset?

IS IT TRUE we believe that the fate of Mesker Amphitheater is already been decided?  …when Mesker Park Zoo Director Amos Morris commissioned a study in 2012 to determine what should the city do with Mesker Amphitheater was like “Putting The Fox Watching The Hen House”?  …the 52-page ” Report” determined it would take between $9.7 million to $13.1 million to renovate Mesker Amphitheater is  highly questionable?  …we consider any future statements concerning Mesker Amphitheater fate made by Zoo Director  Morris will be designed to  give Mesker Amphitheater and land  to Mesker Zoo so they can develop it as they deem necessary?

IS IT TRUE we would like to give Vectren and their employees a FIVE STAR rating for doing an outstanding job in repairing about 27,000 power outages throughout this region?  …the Vectren staff and employees were extremely professional and prompt in helping us getting our power back on in a timely manner?

  1. Hartke Pool yesterday was closed to do “Inclement Weather”.

    Anybody know what the real reason was? Anyone who was outside yesterday knows the weather could not have been more perfect for pooling.

    • Power outage as a result of the storms. Pumping, fimtration, and chlorination systems have to be brought back up to speed and chlorination levels have to be tested. I think Howell Pool had the same problems.

  2. Noticed that originally the only sponsors of the anti-1st Amendment ordinance was HER HIGHNESS a/k/a Messy Nosby and the Goof-Ball McGinn. Wonder if McGinn studied Constitutional Law when in Law School?

    • Mr. Arnold, based on McGinn’s response to me about finding a loophole to keep the brownfield landbank’s out of the public eye, I think he studied the laws of Loopholes. There is probably a law specialty – loopholes for cronies.

  3. How does Mike Pence help? Trump already has the angry white man vote on lockdown. How does Pence help reach independents? More proof that Trump doesn’t actually want to win.

    • He helps because he fills the slot and isn’t Newt Gingrich or Chris Christie. The only other two people who wanted it were Jan Brewer and Mary Fallin, and they’re women. Trump is more comfortable with a male running mate.

      You will notice, Mr. Ghost, the ranking of Indiana as opposed to those famous, or infamous, far-left liberal states such as New York, Illinois, California, etc. That is why Trump likes Governor Pence.

          But remember, Trump is a “reality TV star.” He is popular because he is a “reality TV star.” Many incompetent, misguided, ignorant but fully legal, voters like Trump “because he is a reality TV star.” (Pressanykey is one of those.) Trump is totally unfit for the White House mind you. He is totally ignorant of foreign policy, military affairs and domestic policy issues including social security, tax policy, etc….BUT….he is popular because he is a “reality TV star.”

          And the “we’re auditioning Pence” charade that is going on with Trump’s visit to Indiana?
          Just more “auditioning” of running mates……part of a “reality TV plot line”….that Trump is knowledgable about.
          This Pence thing is to draw viewers (like Pressanykey) to the Trump reality TV show.

          • Jesse Venture and Arnold are other examples of reality TV stars. I think that Don is right about this. The well know TV faces attract stupid people to the voting booths. It’s name recognition more than actually intelligent thoughts that attack voters to these TV stars.

            Trump is not doing very well with the College Educated Female voters. That could be his downfall .. Hopefully.

            I’m not fond of Hillary’s anti gun thoughts but having Trump in the White House would put us all in grave danger. IMHO He is way to unstable to be the President of the USA. No one can predict what he will do and to me that’s extremely dangerous.

          • “Arnald” was a body builder/movie star who married into a political family. He was able to take the Californication Governor’s mansion because of the recall (by voters) of a corrupt, incompetent Governor. The Californication voters saw “Arnald” as a savior. After his election the residents of Californication realized that many of their “entitlements” and freebies were going to disappear in an effort to get the state back on stable financial feet. Result: the current Governor of Californication is Jerry “Goofball” Brown and the state is in financial turmoil and business’s are leaving left and right and social service programs supporting undocumented workers (illegals) are sucking the state’s coffers as dry as their water reservoirs. Of course it hasn’t helped that they have elected two of the worst U.S. Senators in the history of the U.S. Senate, Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein.

            You might recall Californication also elected another movie star as Governor; Ronald Reagan. And he went on to become one of the best Presidents of the U.S. in tbe 20th Century. Much to the chagrin of the left-wing socialists on the Left Coast and the out of touch Easy Coast.

          • I’m not a fan of Trump. I think he is ill-prepared to lead this country. At the same time I fear for this country if Dictator Hillary is elected. Historians often say the average peak of any great civilization or empire is around 300 years and then it begins to go downhill. And usually not from any exterior forces but from internal disruption, power struggles, and those in power attempting to remain in power by placating the masses. Maybe it’s the U.S.’s time? We have no competent leadership now, our Congress is hopelessly filled with people who think their position is untouchable and is their entitlement, and our judical system thinks it’s their right to enact legislation. The morality of our business/industrial system is corrupt; it’s the day of the robber baron again. The result: the vast majority of this nation is fed up with way this country is headed. They’re embarrassed by the “shove it down their throat” mentality of the current administration. They’re fed up being the financial “go-to” nation of the world. They’re fed up being the “help save us from our enemies” turn-to nation of the world. They’re tired of being the whipping boy for everything wrong in the world. They’re tired of immigrants to this great melting pot nation coming to this country and refusing to assimilate and be accepted, instead wanting to compel their standards, customs, and laws upon the citizens of this nation. They’re sick and tired of seeing their social and financial postions erode away. They feel attacked and they feel their earned benefits from building this country are being given away to freeloaders and “outsiders” hellbent on destroying the fabric of this nation.
            For what it’s worth, Trump has recognized this. He has exploited it. The people of this country who support Trump (and obviously that’s a large number) see him as an opportunity to restore their (and this country’s) well-being and status and power and prestige. They see Hillary as a continuation of the failures and distructive policies of the current administration (she is a part of the current administration). They are willing to accept Trump’s shortcomings if his efforts serve to “right the ship”.

            Jehovah/God/Allah/Yahweh/Great Spirit – help us all.

          • I wouldn’t put Trump in the same league as Reagan.
            Reagan had experience as a union activist, a union leader, and civic administrator (California governor).

            Personally I liked Ben Carson but I thought he would be weak and ineffective on from an internation standpoint. IMHO, Ohio governor John Kasich would have been a far better Republican nominee for POTUS.

          • What you’re seeing as support for Trump from the citizens of this country is also the driving force from the citizens of the United Kingdom’s vote to exit from the EU.

            James Dobson insists Donald Trump is born-again. I mean, that’s just a lie. Seriously, he’s a liar. Dobson’s just, I mean…that’s crazy. He’s just a liar. Everyone is America knows that isn’t true. So maybe Pence can take Dobson’s job.

  4. Is it true that some members of the community are going to circulate a petition requesting Mosby’s resignation as President of the Common Council? That they want the proposed ordinance to be voted down by a majority of Council, rather than a weaker version of it passed? That the Council members who support the ordinance should expect to answer to the voters for their actions?

  5. Here is the petition. It is posted on Facebook. Missy seems to have stepped on some toes. She and anyone else who votes for the ordinance will be remembered. I think the backlash from this is going to make the amended version toxic, too.

    • But elkaybee, they need a way to keep me from speaking. They cut me out of the minutes and the video the last time I addressed the council and Mcginn and Adams made fools out of themselves. i would think my less than three minutes should have remained part of the record. The meeting had not yet adjourned. I hove solicited for my own videographer to cove the event when I speak next. I guess they got work of that.

      It they do not have an opportunity to plan and rehearse the show beforehand it does they might look like fools and not get reelected.

        • Not joking this time. I usually underestimate my influence. Who has been speaking at the council meeting that they want to silence besides me?

          • Maybe no one that can be readily identified. Stupidity and simplicity often beget paranoia. No telling what sort of monster they’ve spun up in their common mind that might manifest itself in the well of the council chamber and want to be heard.

        I can find it if you want me to, but I know there was a Supreme Court decision not that long ago that stated that they CANNOT prevent you from audio or video recording a public meeting

        • They cut me out of the video that they control last time. It was an embarrassment for Mcgin and Adams, not me. I suggested I would make my own video which they cannot stop but they can stop me from speaking. That is if they collectively stop everyone. Council members tell me they hear from the public outside of the meeting. They only hear from the elite few withing their small social circles. Most of the same people in the circles.
