Brandon Lee Ferguson announces his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for Indiana State Representative, District 77.

Mr. Ferguson official announcement statement:

I’m a proud Union Tradesman, part-time engineering student, husband, father of two wonderful children and expecting a Christmas baby boy.

I will be talking about issues, it won’t be fixing our infrastructure or our education system because all politicians say that. Those things should be automatic, to me issues are struggles and I want to talk about struggles that matter.

Starting with rising cost of our seniors, such as the medicine they take or their assist living. We need to helping out our small businesses by cutting all the unnecessary red tape and stop drowning them in taxes.

Crime is getting ridiculous, instead of incarcerating our youth and putting our police force in harm’s way, we have to start looking at prevention measures before they become a problem, such as youth programs.

The ever rising cost of hospital visits, insurance, and daycare. And the biggest issue I’d like to address is jobs,

GOOD paying jobs made by Americans! You can’t go anywhere to buy American made products. There isn’t a reason why we can’t make our own clothes, TV’s, washers…etc

I’m running for office because I truly believe to represent the working class citizen, we should try a candidate who is actually from the working class. Time and time again, the working class is either forgotten or being taken advantage of. We’ve already tried business owners, lawyers, and CEO’s who cater to the one percent. We see how well that works for congress!

My agenda is to take back our state and ensure that all residents have a fair shot to succeed at the American Dream.

  1. Brandon is a great guy. I will have no problem supporting him if he wins the primary. In fact, I would do so enthusiastically. It doesn’t look like a Chris Cooke candidacy is scaring anyone, although he would likely have the Winkie machine’s money behind him.

    • One thing this new CCO stuff seems to be ‘in the box”. So, as innovationist’s we are going to hold back and then surpass them as we do with any competitor in the realm of any new ideation. This likely won’t be posted however us putting it here certainly compounds the point. It sets the mean point of the recovery of sourcing. That place is in big trouble and we could help if someone would accept the failures of the past and allow us to assist with that and move that forward.

      V-Team.

  2. Liked a lot of what you said, but you lost me at the one percent bud. Just more worn out liberal jargon and divisive class warfare. I know you must hate Gates and Zuckerberg, but their riches do not make other people poor.

    • I do not hate the rich or big business. Its my desire to bring big and small business alike to Evansville. I am even willing to give tax abatement to lure any companies (big or small) who are willing to pay a decent living wage. I am simply saying we have a flawed campaign finance system. Politicians will almost always respond exclusively to the desires of special interests and the wealthiest, and until it’s fixed the working class will continue being left in the dark.

      • Brandon, this is a “safe space” for those resent businesses and business owners, so you need not restrain yourself. I like the idea of keeping this seat in the hands of a weak individual who will do whatever the union leadership tells him to do. I believe that you should start scoping out motel rooms in Urbana, Illinois that you can use as office space after your election. Representative Riecken can provide considerable guidance in that undertaking.

        • I love this quote from Thomas Carlyle. Permanence, perseverance, and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements, and impossibilities: It is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak. I wish you a Merry Christmas J. Coddington “Comrade Hugo” Fetlock IV
