Evansville Police are investigating a Saturday night shooting that injured a 14-year-old. The shooting happened around 11:00 pm in the 400 block of Adams Ave.
Police were called to the area for a report of shots being fired but did not locate anything. A short time later, a 14-year-old male arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. He told police he had been at a party in the area where police responded to the shots fired call.
Police have identified a 14-year-old suspect, but have not located him.
The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call WeTip or EPD.
